Abstract
Objective:To explore the risk factors of fatty liver in type 2 diabetic patients.Methods:35 type 2 diabetic patients with fatty liver asymptomatic disease confirmed by B- ultrasonography (male 21,female 14,age 57.06±13.32 year) and 35 type 2 diabetic patients without fatty liver confirmed by B-ultrasonography were studied and matched for sex and age. Results:BMI,TG,Fasting and 2hC-peptide,2hINS,AST,ALT of type 2 diabetic patients with fatty liver were significantly increased compared with those without fatty liver(BMI,TG,P0.01.others P0.05).TC,LDL-C and Fasting INS were increased without significant difference.IAI(P0.01) and HDL-C(P0.05 )were significantly decreased. Conclusion:Type 2 diabetes with fatty liver was closely related to obese, dyslipidemia and insulin resistance.Type 2 diabetes with fatty liver may cause liver transaminase increase. It is suggested that reduction of body weight and improvement of dyslipidemia and insulin resistance may be a key therapy in type 2 diabetic patients with fatty liver.
