Abstract

In the early 20th century, Qing Dynasty carried out the New Policy. Though its aim was to defend its own rule, some measures still played certain active role objectively. As for education, it put forward the slogan for universal education and made the law for school system. Also it increased the opportunities to be educated and began to eliminate illiteracy for woman. All of these occupy a proper or definite place in education of China.
