Relationship Among Self-concept and self-monitoring Coping Style of Vocational College Nursing Students

401 Vocational College nursing students were assessed with Wallace Self-Concept Scale Snyder Self-monitoring Scale and Coping Style Questionnaire.The results indicated that:(1) nursing students’ self-concept was significantly different in grade,it was cut down with the increase of the grade.(2) Only on the self-monitoring were only children significantly higher than none-only children.(3) The use of coping styles of escape and rationalizing were increased with the enhance of their grade.(4) There was no significant correlation between self-monitoring and self-concept,but self-concept was significant related with all aspects of coping style.The problem solving factor,self-blame factor and seeking help factor had significant predictions on self-concept.
