Co-integration Analysis on the Relationship between Development of Higher Education and Economic Growth in Xinjiang

By referring to Xinjiang data from 1980 to 2010,the relationship between the development of higher education and economic growth is studied,a co-integration equation and error correction model is established,and Grainger causality test is conducted,and thus the main conclusion is drawn: the long-term co-integration relationship between the economic growth of Xinjiang and higher education scale exists,and the economic growth on the scale of higher education is a one-way Grainger causal relation.On the basis of this analysis,the author puts forward countermeasures on Xinjiang higher education and sustainable development of economy.
