Abstract
A method is reported for the simultaneous determination of cobalt and nickel content in alloy electrolyte by dual-wavelength K coefficient spectrophotometry. In this method,PAR is used as chromogenic reagent and the measurement is conducted in NH3-H2O-NH4Cl buffer solution of pH=8.0.The reference wavelength of cobalt and nickel are 512 nm/482 nm and 496 nm/526 nm,respectively. At these wavelengths, the linear ranges are 0.080~1.0 μg/mL for cobalt and 0.040~1.0 μg/mL for nickel. This method has been applied successfully to the analysis of cobalt and nickel in alloy electrolyte.
