Abstract
Aim To study the effects of azone on the permeation of osthol through skin in vitro. Methods Valia-Chien diffusion cell was adopted as the apparatus for skin permeation in vitro.Abdomen skin excised from SD rat was pretreated with azone at the different concentrations in vitro. Results Azone at the concentrations of 1%,3%,5% and 7% improved the permeation of osthol through skin. Conclusion Azone can increase the diffusion coefficients of osthol. And the effect of azone is the best when its concentration is 5%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
