Transform Educational Thought and Concept and Promote the Cultivation of University Students’ Innovative Ability

Innovation is the core of knowledge-based economy, and innovative ability is an important factor of qualified talents in the 21st century. The primary task of higher education is to cultivate specialists with innovative ability and spirit. Advanced educational concept is a key factor of developing university students’ innovative ability. From the point of view of introspection on cultivating students’ innovative ability, this paper analyzes the reasons why university students lack innovative ability and provides a series of measures to promote the cultivation of it with the guidance of people’s overall development and social demand.
