Xin Qiji(marital name:Jiaxuan)is a famous verse writer and is compared to“the dragon of verses”because of his brave in the battle field. He was a warrior for his whole life and longed to devote himself to his country but failed to do so. Therefore, he was destined to lead a life full of pathos. The hero wrote his verses with passions , leaving many masterpieces to the next generations. This paper attempts to revive a bold but gentle image of Xin Qiji by exploring the story of his life and the styles of his verses.
