Abstract
Objective To study the effect of taurocholic acid(TCA) on serum IgG,IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α level of adjuvant arthritis rats,as well as the mechanism of this drug. Methods Used Freund′s complete adjuvant to establish adjuvant arthritis rat model, observed TCA on swelling of rats′ paw; tested effect of drugs on rat serum IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α contents. Results Compared with model group,TCA promoted the edema of paw of rats with adjuvant arthritis, improved IgG,IL-1β and IL-6 content, but had no effect on TNF-α content. At the same time,it had no effect on weights of spleen and thymus. Conclusion TCA may enhance the immune function of rats with adjuvant arthritis, and regulate cytokines.
