Clinical analysis of the efficacy of proximal femoral locking plate universal treatment of intertrochanteric fractures

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of proximal femoral locking plate universal treatment of intertrochanteric fractures. Methods 60 cases of femoral intertrochanteric fracture were divided into observation group and control group,each group of 30 cases.The observation group was used universal proximal femoral locking plate in the treatment while the control group was treated with dynamic hip screw treatment.Then,the treatments and healings of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time,blood loss and flow rate and fracture healing time in observation group of patients compared with control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The excellent rate in observation group was 93.33%,significantly higher than the 76.67% in the control group(P0.05).The infection, pain,screw loosening and hip varus cases complications in observation group was less than that of control group respectively(P0.05). Conclusion Proximal femur universal locking plate in the treatment of intertrochanteric fracture,simple operation,good treatment effect,and has high safety,can effectively reduce the postoperative complications.
