Influence factor on security operation of relay protection and its countermeasures

With the improvement and expansion of power networks,it is more important to ensure secure and steady operation for relay protection and automation devices.To improve the accuracy of operation for relay protection and automation devices,the rele-vant regulations and countermeasures should be taken,and the management of the facilities and the liabilities should be specified and standardized.According to the statistics and analysis of operation for relay protection and automation devices in Datong Power Network from1991to1999,this paper presents the suggestions and countermeasures to ensure secure and steady operation of pow-er network.
