On the Characteristics of Deng Xiaoping’s People-oriented Thoughts

While leading Chinese people in constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics,Deng Xiaoping always regarded people’s interest as the starting point and the destination,which is a vivid reflection of his people-oriented thought.On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the China’s Reform and Opening-up,the writer of this article attempts to analyze the characteristics of Deng Xiaoping’s people-oriented thought which includes the unification of openness and innovation,the unification of strategy with practicality,the unification of principle with flexibility.His thought is of great practical significance to carrying out our work of serving the people to promote the construction of a well-off society.
