Abstract

No matter Modbus,Profi-bus or Hostlink,all are designed on differential circuit.So the longest distance for communication is only 500 meters.The wiring layout and safety should also be considered.The communication distance on current field bus is far under the requirement for remote monitoring.This thesis is focused on the researching on Modbus and Modbus-TCP.It collects all the information locally,and transfers the protocol to Modbus-TCP.Then,it sends them to the remote client by Ethernet,WiFi and even to all over the world through the internet.This thesis aims to provide a solution for remote monitoring.
