Education as growthis the important education view of John Dewey.We can overall grasp his education idea and research his special philosophy and education idea through reading its deep meaning.The paper tries to analysis the meaning ofEducation as growthfrom the metaphor perspective and research the path that how to analysis education metaphor.We should attach importance to the cognition and analysis of the concept of education metaphor.It can help us to grasp the education phenomenon and view from multiple perspectives.
