Abstract

OBJECTIVE To explore the effective-ness of transnasal endoscopic optic decompressionfor raumatic optic neuropathy. METHODS Eight caseswere treated with optic decompression. RESULTS Thevisual acuity in 5 cases was improved from NLP、CF / 50cm、HM、LP、0.04 to 0.1、0.1、0.06、0.08、0.1 after the operation. CONCLUSIONTransnasal endoscopic optic decompression is a goodmethod for management of the traumatic opticneuropathy. Proper operative indication is very impor-tant for a better outcome. It should not be given up towhom have no light perception or injured in longer timebefore the operation.[
