Abstract
The contents of Cu in five Chinese herbal medicines were determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FAAS) and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry(GFAAS).The samples were digested by microwave with HNO3 and H2O2,and the amount of Cu was calculated by calibration curve method.There are some differences between the two methods.The recovery of FAAS is from 92.0% to 102.0%,and the recovery of GFAAS is from 92.0% to 110.0%.Two methods are in conformity with the determination of the element Cu in Chinese herbal medicine.
