Abstract

Objective:To investigate the changes of the sensitivity reactive protein C(hsCRP),white blood cell(WBC) and fibrinogen(FIB) in patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:The clinical documents of 506 patients with type 2 diabetes were divided into two groups based on with /without DN.The changes of the hsCRP,WBC and FIB,and the relationship between their levels and DN were analyzed in the two groups. Results:Compared to non-DN group, the levels of hsCRP,WBC and FIB were increased obviously in DN group(P 0.05).In a multiple logistic regression analysis, after adjusting the age, gender, the ascend duration of diabetes, blood pressure, lipid, glycosylated HbA1C and body mass index(BMI),the levels of WBC and hsCRP were independent risk factors of diabetic nephropathy(OR = 1.117,1.127;95% CI:1.058-1.180,1.005-1.264).Conclusion:The levels of WBC,FIB and hsCRP are closely related with DN.These subclinical inflammatory index can be used for prognosis and evaluation of DN.
