Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of budesonide and terbutaline combined budesonide in treatment of children with asthma, which in turn to provide the basis for rational and scientific drug use in clinic and to improve the clinical cure rate and reduce complications. Methods: 100 cases of children with asthma in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2011 were met the diagnostic criteria and confirmed the acute exacerbation of asthma in children, they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, there were fifty cases in each group. All of them were given oxygen, antibiotics, antispasmodic asthma, sedative and other conventional treatment, and budesonide 1-2 mg each time, two times a day inhalation, while based on this the observation group were given terbutaline 1.5-2.5 mg each time, two times a day inhalation, then compared the therapeutic effect of the treatment. Results: After the treatment the cure rate of observation group was 90%, which was significantly higher than that of control group which was 60%, while the total effective rate was 100% and 90%, the differences were statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion: Compared with budesonide inhalation alone, terbutaline combined with budesonide inhalation with a fast onset, high cure rate, fewer complications, less side effects and characteristics, which is an effective way to reduce the intravenous administration.
