Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy and safety of domestic Cefoselis in the treatment of patients with moderate to severe acute lower respiratory tract infection. METHODS A randomized comparative study was used. 46 patients were divided into trial group treated with domestic Cefoselis as well as 44 patients into control group treated with Cefepime. RESULTS The cured rate, effective rate, bacterial clearance rate were 41. 3%, 84. 8%, 80. 0% in trial group and 40. 9%, 81. 8%, 83. 3% in control group. The incidences of adverse reaction of them were 4. 3% and 2. 3%. There was no significant difference in these parameters between two groups. CONCLUSION Domestic Cefoselis is an effective and safe antibiotic in the treatment of acute lower respiratory tract infectioa
