Abstract
Objective To explore the MRI features of subtentorial multiple solid hemangioblastoma and to improve its diagnostic accuracy. Methods MRI data and clinical information of six cases with solid hemangioblastoma proved by pathology were analyzed respectively. All of cases were examined by pre and post-contrast MRI scan. Results 6 patients were all multiple,a total of 25 lesions,10 case in the right cerebellar hemisphere,7 case in the left side,2 cases in doris medulla,1 case in the area of left cerebellum pontine area,4 cases close to the tentorium and 1 case in the vermis of cerebellar. The tumors showed iso or slightly hypointensity on T1WI,hyperintensity or slightly hyperintensity on T2WI,and isointensity or slightly hyperintensity on FLAIR,peripheral hemosiderin of 1 lesion was presented as ring like hypointensity on SWI.The obvious homogeneous enhancement was seen in the tumors after injection of contrast medium, tortuous vascular shadow was seen within or around the tumors, multiple blood vessel flow void signal was found in larger mass.10 lesions were closely with surrounding meninges. Conclusion There are certain MRI features of multiple subtentorial solid hemangioblastoma.
