Abstract
Cyclohexyl acetate was synthesized from acetic acid and cyclohexanol catalyzed by the new S O42 -/Sb2O3/SiO2 catalys made by the researcher himself. The experiment results showed that the optimum reaction conditions were as follows: when the molar ratio of cyclohexanol to acetic acid was 1:1.2,the dosage of S O42-/Sb2O3/SiO2 was 0.8g and temperature of reactionis was 145~160℃,reflux time was 4 hour. The esterification yield reached to 94.7%.The product was characterized by refractive index and IR.
