Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the prevalence of hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg),hepatitis C antibody(anti-HCV),human immunodeficiency virus antibody(anti-HIV)and anti-Treponema pallidum antibody(antiTP)in patients preparing for treatment of blood transfusion.so as to provide proofs to reduce the risk of blood transfusion and enhance the doctors and nurses′consciousness of self protection.METHODS From 2010to 2012.4152patients in the hospital were recruited. The detection of HbsAg,anti-HCV and anti-HIV was performed by ELISA method.RESULTS Among the 4152patients,the positive rates of HbsAg,Anti-HCV and anti-TP were15.07%,1.37% and 3.66%,respectively,while anti-HIV was only detected in one patient 0.02%.CONCLUSION Although the prevalence of the markers for transmission diseases is still low,the importance of detecting these markers should be concerned.
