Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the results of detection of infectious indicators of hospitalized patients before blood transfusion during 2008-2013and understand the incidence of infectious diseases so as to improve the diagnosis and treatment level.METHODS The clinical data of 2936patients who underwent the blood transfusion in 2008-2013were retrospectively analyzed, then the infectious indicators of all the subjects were detected before the blood transfusion, including the human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)antibody(anti-HIV1/2),treponema pallidum antibody(anti-TP),hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg),and hepatitis C virus antibody(anti-HCV);the incidence of infections was analyzed.RESULTS The anti-HIV1/2was tested positive in 8cases with the positive rate of 0.27%;the anti-TP was tested positive in 35cases with the positive rate of 1.19%;the HBsAg was tested positive in 229cases with the positive rate of 7.80%;the anti-HCV was tested positive in 37cases with the positive rate of 1.26%;the positive rate of the anti-TP of the female patients was higher than that of the male patients, the difference was significant(P0.05),while the positive rates of the anti-HIV1/2,anti-TP,and anti-HCV HBsAg of the male patients were significantly higher than those of the female patients, the differences were significant(P0.05).The positive rates of the infectious indicators of the recipients showed an upward trend before the blood transfusion, increasing from 5.08% in 2008 to 16.53% in 2012;the positive rates of the anti-HIV1/2and anti-TP were increased significantly during the past two years.CONCLUSIONThe detection of the infectious indicators including anti-HIV1/2,anti-TP,HBsAg,and anti-HCV before the blood transfusion can determine whether the recipients are with such infections and avoid the medical dispute basis,on the other hand,it can help to find out the potential infection sources in a timely manner so as to take necessary isolation and protection measures to control the infections and cross infections.
