Abstract

This paper briefly describes what the COM+ is,and why you need to understand this technology working in a distributed Windows 2000 environment.It introduces COM+ as both a distributed technology and a programming discipline through which you can implement transaction among different databases.In addition,it explains what is Microsoft server-side components,such as Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) and the technology of persistent context.
