Abstract
The quality of jadeite is decided by its color and texture. Its color depends on its mineral and chemical composition. Jadeite is made up of pyroxene, amphibole and feldspar group minerals, in which the existence, quantity and change of chemical composition of pyroxene group minerals, such as jadeite, aegirine, vryite and hedenbergite, largely influence the quality of jadeite. Besides these, amphibole group minerals can make jadeite a little more darker, influence the quality of jadeite.
