Abstract

Information sharing is a base of supply chain management. This article compares the related parameters of the supply chain's performance on the assumption that information is sharing as well as is not sharing, proving that the bullwhip effect is much weaker in the case of information sharing than that in the case of not sharing. Thus,to make information be shared is an effective way to control bullwhip effect and improve the efficiency of a supply chain.
