Abstract
Experiments were carried out in a marine culture field of Zhejiang Province from Apr.2000 to Apr.2001. Under the conditions of controlled seawater temperature, salinity and pH, the influences of temperature and salinity on the growth and survival of Argopecten irradians concentricus larva and juveniles were studied respectively. The results showed that the suitable temperature was 20—30℃ for larvae and 15—33℃ for juveniles, and the most suitable growth temperature was 25—30℃ for larvae and 25—30℃ for juveniles; suitable salinity was 23.38—42.70 for larvae and 23.38—42.70 for juveniles, and the most suitable growth salinity was 23.38—36.58 for larvae and 23.38—36.58 for juveniles. The growth was the best and the survival rate was the highest at sea water pH value from 7 to 8. The ability to resist exposure and dry was low for juveniles.
