Research on Planning and Design of Land Consolidation in Basic Tobacco Field in Karst Mountainous Areas

The tobacco production land in Karst mountainous areas in the southwest is of thin soil layer,low fertility,poor ability for fertilizer and water retention,sporadical distribution,and poor farming conditions,it severely restricted the ecological efficiency of tobacco production and sustainable development in this area.Land consolidation in basic tobacco field could improve the comprehensive efficiency,and was beneficial to the sustainable development of tobacco industry.Taking the basic tobacco field land consolidation in typical karst mountainous area in Xuguan Village,Shuangpu Township,Xixiu District,Anshun Prefecture in Guizhou as an example,land consolidation was undertaken specifically and varied accordingly,design method and targets of land consolidation were discussed,and the evaluation of land efficiency was carried out after land consolidation in this study.
