Abstract

This paper describes a novel method for preparing salidroside: silica gel superfine process is conducted by combining solvent extraction and separation with macroporous absorbent resin. This method is qualified to prepare high purity standard products. Supervising by TLC and determining the salidroside purity by HPLC, comparing the salidroside contents of Rhodiola cultivated in Jiling and Tibet, we find that the content of salidroside of Jiling Rhodiola is 0.423%, higher than that in Tibet Rhodiola.
