Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression of bcl 2 and p53 in gastric carcinoma(GC).Methods:Immunohistochemical staining was used to evaluate the expression of bcl 2 and p53 in GC.Results:The expression rates of bcl 2 and p53 in GC were 42.3% and 52.4%,respectively.The expression of bcl 2 and p53 did not associated with clinicopathological parameters.There was cor relation between bcl 2 and p53( P 0.01).Conclusions:bcl 2 and p53 play an important role in carcinogenesis of GC.
