Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)often recurs and is refractory.Pathogenic dampness plays a key role in the pathogenesis of RA;endogenous dampness is the basis,exogenous dampness may cause endogenous dampness,and spleen deficiency and dampness excess,as well as combination of dampness and stagnant blood,are main pathogenic characteristics of RA.Spleen-strengthening,dampness-removing,stasis-resolving,and collateral-dredging prescription should be administered in the whole treatment of RA.
