Abstract
In quest of optimal salt-acclimation concentration of NaCl solution and high-salt-resistance ability as well as of expression difference of salt-resistance-associated proteins, the wheat seedlings of Triticum aestivum L.cv xinmai 9,were undergone high-salt stress after salt-acclimation by 5 different concentrations of NaCl solution;their protein expression difference was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and POD expression difference by renaturation electrophoresis using samples collected at seventh day after high-salt stress. The results showed:(1)The high salt-resistance ability of wheat seedlings could be enhanced by salt-acclimation,which was greatly enhanced in 2.50 g NaCl/kg sand;(2) The two new proteins of 225 and 233 kD were detected in wheat seedlings undergone salt-acclimation of 2.5 g NaCl/kg sand when salt-stressed by 3.75 g NaCl/kg sand;(3)The three extra POD bands of 57,59 and 84 kD were all detected in the wheat seedlings undergone salt-acclimation in contrast to the control, but the three bands of 52,55 and 60 kD were not found in the control. The wheat seedlings after salt-acclimation of 2.5 gNaCl/kg sand had the strongest ability of high-salt-resistance;new protein and POD band were found in wheat seedlings undergone hige-salt stress.
