Abstract
This study aimed to conduct resin tapping under different density forest of 12a,17a and 22a Pinun massoniana with tapping burden rate of 40%,50% and 60% at a tapping interval period of every day and next day.The results showed that the shorter the tapping interval period was,or the longer the tapping ditch was,the more resin yield was;the per unit resin yield tapped everyday was 0.28 times more than that of next day tapping;the average singletree and single-bark resin yield with a tapping burden rate of 60% was 1.19 and 1.07 times respectively more than that with a tapping burden rate of 40% and 50%;the tapping method with a tapping burden rate of 40% and next day tapping was adopted for medium-age forest and a tapping burden rate of 50% and next day tapping for mature-age forest, which not only produce a higher economic benefits, but also prolong tapping resin management years.
