Abstract

Micro-tapping with gas stimulation is a new exploitation technique being studied. The result from continuous experiments for 13 years of micro-cut tapping with gas-stimulation on PR107 showed that the yield from micro-cut tapping was slightly higher than that of control, while the annual tapping number was 10% less than that of control. The side effects such as TPD were reduced, indicating that the technique was safe.
