Abstract

Based on 298 questionnaires and interviews,this paper analyses the situation of the farmers' subject status of new countryside construction in Northern Jiangsu from subjective and objective dimensions.The results show that the farmers' subject status has not been fully embodied so far.The new countryside construction should embark on strengthening propaganda,giving prominence to the farmers' subject status,cultivating new farmers and increasing the farmers' income.
