Major characteristics of Russian television structure

Compared with the former Soviet Union times,the modern Russian television structure has changed a lot,which is affected both by political and economic factors.For the further development of the Russian television industry,economy will play an even bigger role.Currently,in the Russian television structure,wireless television occupies the dominant position,while cable and satellite television develop rather slowly.What is quite noticeable is the co-existence of State-owned stations and commercial stations.It is still in brewing period for establishment of public television stations.
