Abstract
Through the two series of orthogonal tests,it is respectively discussed of using sulfuric acid or p-toluene sulfonic acid as catalyst to synthesize diethylene glycol dibenzoate. The result shows that the selectivity of catalyst of p-toluene sulfonic acid is satisfactory. The optimum reaction conditions are as follows: the dosage of p-toluene sulfonic acid is 3%,the reaction temperature is 185℃,the molar ratio of benzoic acid to diethylene glycol is 2∶1,the reaction time is 10 h.Under above conditions, the yield can reach 98.00%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
