Abstract
The dynamic distribution of duck enteritis virus(DEV) in the various organzitions of 15-day-old ducklings, which infected intramuscularly with virulent DEV strain GZ,were detected by SYBR GreenⅠfluorescence quantitative PCR.The results indicated that the DEV DNA could be detected in six tissues of liver, spleen, brain, thymus, kidney and lung at 3 hours post-infetion(PI),and in duodenum and appendix beside above six tissues at 6 hours PI,then in breast muscle and cardiac muscle beside above eight tissues at 10 hours PI.The amount of DEV DNA was varied in the different organis of ducklings, ranked as brain, liver, spleen, thymus, kidney, duodenum, appendix, lung, breast muscle and cardiac muscle. These results provided an important experimental data for clarification of pathogenic mechanism of DEV.
