Abstract
Objective To investigate the association of tumor necrosis factor receptor(TNFR) gene polymorphisms with the genetic susceptibility of psoriasis vulgar(PV)in Han population. Methods The allele gene frequency and genotypic frequency at two single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) situs of TNFR in 107 PV patients(case group) and 110 heathy person(control group) of Han people in northern of Henan province were detected by polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphisms(RFLP) techniques, and the association of the polymorphisms at two SNP situs and the susceptibility to PV were analysed with SPSS 13.0 soft. Results The distribution of genotypes and allele of the SNP at locus +676 of TNFR2 in case group was significantly different from that in control group(P0.001).There was no significant difference in the distribution of genotype for the TNFR1-329 locus between the case group and control group, and examination of the allele frequencies also failed to show a difference between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion These results indicate that the SNP at locus +676 of TNFR2 is associated with PV in Han people of northern Henan province.
