Operative Technique of Removing Tumor in Sella Region through Transobital Keyhole Approach

Objective To introduce the new operative technique of removing the tumor in the sellar region through the transobital keyhole approach. Method Twenlve patients with different kinds of tumors in the sellar regions were treated by the microsurgery through transobital keyhole approach. Results The tumors were totally removed in all the patients and no one died. All the patients were discharged from hospital within 8 days without the companied symptoms. Conclusions The new approach has its own specific advantages of small skin incision which does not damage to the patients looks and short hospitalization. It is a good choice for some kinds of patients with the tumors in the sellar regions.
