Abstract

Civil public prosecution refers to the system where procuratorates, for the purpose of safeguarding public interests and in the name of the state, initiate a specific kind of civil cases to trial according to law. Civil public prosecution instituting by procuratorates has its sound legal foundations. The core issue in this regard is to determine the scope of civil prosecution cases and the procedural status of procuratorates as one of parties in such kind of cases.
