Abstract

With the implementation of the new code of criminal procedure, defence will increasingly play important roles in criminal procedure. In order to guarantee the fair and just treatment and the right to full defence in criminal procedure for the accused from poverty families, various kinds of legal aid should be adopted to meet their needs. This is especially important for the accused who are likely to be taken into custody.
