Abstract
In this paper,the performance of muffler in a new exhaust system was studied,the transmission losses of muffler were predicted by three-dimensional numerical method,and the combustion model of the muffler matched engine was established.The temperature and speed of the airflow at the muffler entrance in different conditions were calculated,the change of actual transmission losses of muffler under the impact of engine was analyzed,the actual performance of muffler was predicted more accurately.
