A Review on the Research of Eco-Inhibition Poverty around Metropolis

Since the adoption of the reform and opening-up policy, poverty alleviation and poverty reduction in China have made significant achievements, and make a positive contribution to the world. But poverty is still a major historical problem of restricting China's future development. A special type of poor areas is worthy of study, which is located around Beijing and Tianjin,bear the special features of ecological conservation and ecological security, and are called ecoinhibition poverty-stricken areas. This kind of poor areas are also expected to take the lead in achieving poverty reduction and poverty alleviation. Based on concluding the concept, cause and alleviation of eco-inhibition poverty, this paper analyzed the pieces of research about eco-inhibition poverty-stricken areas around the metropolis. Then, the paper put forward suggestions for the alleviation research of eco-inhibition poverty in the future, which from the aspects of the use of the adjacent city resources, cross regional cooperation, the main body's participation and the like.
