Abstract
Because of their lower ability of movement, molluscs in the interti dal zone are always studied as an indicator of the relationship betw een organisms and environment. From 1998-2000 molluscs in the intertidal zone were c ollected.148 species of benthis, belonging to 51 families, were recognized:1 sp ec ies of Amphineara,84 species belonging to 33 families of Gastropoda,63 species belo nging to 17 families of Lamellibranchia,The results show that the tropical and subtropi cal warm water species distributed in the east China sea and the south China sea have been the most advantageous species in fauna of mollusc on intertial zone o f Nao Zhou island.
