Abstract
The synthetic effects of the suffered body due to disaster,factors leading to disaster and environment forming disaster on urban flood disaster are investigated.The changing trend of urban flood disaster mode and the effect of urbanization on characteristics of flood disaster are summarized.A model for evaluation and prediction of direct economic loss is established.The model is applied to the evaluation and prediction of the flood disaster loss happened to the littoral region of Tianjin city.
