Abstract

Objective:To investigate the factors that influences the intraocular pressure in myopia. Methods:354 eyes of myopia were divided into four groups:groupⅠ -1 00D~-3 00D (78 eyes),group Ⅱ -3 25D~-6 00D (121 eyes),group Ⅲ -6 25D~-9 25D (102 eyes),group Ⅳ -10 00D~-19 00D (53 eyes) The items of intraocular pressure (IOP),central corneal thickness (CCT),curvature, diopter and length of ocular axis (LOA) were measured. The data was analyzed by SPSS statistical software. Results:There were significant differences among four groups in all the items (P0 001).The positive correlations of IOP to CCT and to LOA were found (r=0 204 and r=0 138,P0 01).A negative correlation was figured out between IOP and diopter (r=-0 201,P0 001).The regression equation for IOP to CCT,LOA and diopter was built up. Conclusions:The results suggested that the IOP in myopia is positively related to CCT and LOA,but negatively related to diopter.
