Application research of UML activity diagram in workflow process modeling

Abstract

UML (unified modeling language) is a well-defined easily-expressed and powerful modeling language, which can be used in different fields. And UML activity diagram can be applied to organizational modeling for business process engineering and workflow modeling. The primitives of UML activity diagram including subactivity,logical joint marks, control flows are expanded in order to meet the requests of actual application. Finally the mathematic model of extended UML activity diagram is discussed.
