Abstract
Direct fermentation by using raw corn material to produce alcohol was investigated based on orthogonal experiments. The results showed that the optimum fermentation conditions were as follows: 0.7% for additive,1∶4 ratio(raw materials/water),pH 5.5 and 35°C for fermentation,4 to 5-day-fermentation duration.Under these optimum conditions, the starch utilizable percent reached 81.4%,while production of alcohol was 46.22%.
