Abstract
Eight-banner Mongolians had been guarding the border area for a long time during the Qing Dynasty from the middle of the Qing Dynasty Emperor Qianlong to the end of the dynasty.As the ministers of the Qing Dynasty relying heavily on the border areas,they had made the great contributions to governing and developing the border areas.Meanwhile,they were industrious in writing works and establishing some theories,and aggregated some experience of governing the border areas,leaving behind a precious inheritance for their posterity.The role which eight-banner Mongolians played in governing and developing the border area,and some positive conceptionis worthy of being studied and drawn.lessons from.
